One of the newest authorized Robertson dealers is SCL Schmidty’s Contracting Ltd. This small to medium sized general building contractor has the benefit of youth and vitality blended with experience and professionalism.

SCL is in the process of expansion despite the economic conditions. In this expansion process President Todd Schmidt announced the appointment of his father Brian Schmidt as Vice President – Sales and Marketing.

Todd has been in business since 2002. Since that time he has built a business based on quality and friendly service. His expansion plans are largely focused on the commercial and industrial markets. In that vein he announced the new appointment.

Brian brings with him over 35 years of construction experience largely in these markets as construction manager and project manager. He had owned and operated his own construction firm for almost fifteen years in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

With him he also brings over 10 years experience in dealing with pre-engineered buildings including Robertson. He has project managed pre-eng projects locally and internationally ranging from fifty thousand dollars to over ten million dollars.

Working in a very conservative small market will be a challenge for SCL as they try to develop a desire for metal building systems in the businesses both commercial and industrial as well as the farming community.
